Artificial knee joints
We measure coronal and sagittal curvatures
of patients and apply
the analysis result in
the design of a PNK knee system.
PNK applies various design techniques to
increase performance.
The anterior cam is
applied to increase stability in hyperflexion.
PNK is designed to be flexed 150 degrees.
By applying a Hook-Wall technique,
we have
developed a part that is easy to fasten but
has high stability.
Hook-Wall
technique provides
easy fastening
with high stability

Anterior cam and Hook-wall make
The femoral part has 4 coronal radius groups
(1,2 / 3,4 / 5,6 / 7,8)

The 12 tibial insert ensure constant rollback angle and compatibility between the femoral component and tibial insert. If the number of tibial insert is small, the rollback angle and compatibility may vary because multiple bearings are combined in one femoral component.
All combinations of femoral component and tibial insert can accommodate 150˚ flexion

The anterior cam is applied to increase stability in hyperextension. The Round-to-Round contact in hyperextension decreases contact stress and increases stability.
